How matching works

What is a Soul Profile?

Last reviewed by the BiggDate team

Short answer

A Soul Profile is BiggDate's structured psychological profile of you, derived from your onboarding conversation with Maahi. It captures attachment style, conflict pattern, love languages, dealbreakers, core values and growth areas — the basis BiggDate's matching runs on.

A Soul Profile is the psychological profile BiggDate builds for each member from the Maahi onboarding conversation. It records attachment style (secure, anxious, avoidant or fearful-avoidant), conflict style, love language given and received, core values, dealbreakers and growth areas, plus a short written summary called a Soul Snapshot.

Soul Profiles are what matching compares. When BiggDate picks your daily matches, it is comparing Soul Profiles — not photos, prompts or hobby tags — so the system has meaningful signal from your first day.

Soul Profiles are private. Other members never see your raw profile; they see only a short explanation of why a particular pair could work, written for their match card.
