Several design choices shape BiggDate's safety model. Contact starts only through a Soul Knock, so nobody can message you without first putting in effort. Uploaded photos go through automated moderation. Members can earn an optional Pink Tick by submitting a LinkedIn profile and a selfie for manual review. And you can block or report any member at any time; reports are reviewed by the BiggDate team.
Verification is optional, so not every member has a Pink Tick, and BiggDate does not run criminal background checks. Treat every new match as a stranger: meet in public, tell a friend where you're going, and never send money to someone you haven't met. Our Safety and Scam Warning pages go into detail.
On data: BiggDate is built to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Your data is encrypted at rest, never sold, and you can export it or delete your account from settings.
